How to LIVE STREAM your matches on Facebook
UTUBE Video on how to LIVE STREAM on Facebook
I just finished my training on NAPA Ghost Leagues. Here is the LATEST information and rules for Ghost Leagues.
By the Way...
- No Driving
- No Buying Drinks
- No chance of being pulled over
- No Contact with other humans
- No Social Distancing
- No Masks
- Not limited to local area. ie players in Moberly, Belle, Troy, Columbia, Jefferson City, can all play in one league!
Here are the high points.
- You will never play another human person, only "ghost" players.
- You can have no more than 9 players in a SINGLES Ghost League.
- Players can be from ANY area, not just the area the League Operator owns.
- Table size does not matter.
- Currently it will only be 8 ball.
- Weekly Fees will be the same as for regular leagues. However, since there are fewer players (9) you can have the weekly fee amount increased to increase the payouts. Some leagues are doing $10 weekly fees since there is no driving or buying drinks. Also be able to only pay top 1/3 instead of top 1/2. Players choice.
- You will have to LIVE STREAM your "match" on FB or some other live stream. How to do that? See above!
- You can attain bonus points just like a regular league. Snaps, hill to hill, rackless, break and outs.
- You will have races just like a regular league. Your ghost opponent will have a skill level just like a regular opponent. Your skill level will change after each match just like a regular league.
- You will always rack and always break. No lag. You will also always be "home".
- After a legal break, you have ball in hand anywhere on the table. Table is always open after the break. If no balls made it is ball in hand. Any balls made of the same suit will count toward your "ball target" (the number of balls you have to make of the same suit to win the match).
- Your ball target will be in accordance with the opening chart ono Ghost League Rules. For Ghost Skill Level (GSL) 1-3 (equates to regular skill level 0-50) if you scratch on the break it is ball in hand. If you are a GSL 4-7 (51-120+) it is loss of game.
- Making the 8 ball on the break is a win. Cannot make the 8 ball early.
- It is loss of game if you miss a shot.
- Matches can be played in NAPAplay and multiple matches on same night can be played.
- You will have a starting Ghost League Skill Level for 8 ball (GSL8) equal to your regular 8 ball skill level for the first night. After that you will have a separate skill level for Ghost League 8 ball.
- Your matches DO count for NAPA NRP.
- No defensive, safety shots. ALWAYS on the offense.
If you have any questions just let me know. Also let me know if you are interested in shooting a Ghost League Singles. No contact, no travel, no drinking and driving, no social distancing, no masks! All at HOME. This league will NOT be on the same cycle as the other leagues but since you can play many matches in one might the awards can be done on the same night as the other awards...or not. No trophies since it is singles, just cash.
